Having served in the United States Air Force I understand the sense of pride you feel when you are part of it. I was in Venice waiting for the sunset when I happened upon these two young people in military uniforms. I politely asked them if they spoke English and if I could take their picture. Fortunately they spoke a bit of English, more than I spoke Italian! They were more than happy to pose and I took the shot. They told me they were in the navy. When I told them I was air force we instantly bonded. You could tell the were happy with what they were doing and there was a sense of pride in their service.
