Santa and I do several training sessions a year to hone our skills and refresh our memories as we prepare for our Santa Experience sessions and implement changes. I had a vested interest in this training session. They are some of nieces and a Nephew. I share a special relationship with their oldest niece. Her parents were taking care if my aging mother when she was two or three year’s old. When I would stop by to visit, she would crawl up onto my lap and just sit there until I left. Often she would come to me before she would go to her dad. We always laughed about it! They moved out of state for a number of years. One day after moving back to Utah they came over to visit. When the family came in the door it was just like before. That little girl, now seven, ran down the hallway and jumped into my arms. She sat on my lap almost the entire time they were here. I don't know why she is so attached to me, but what a fun blessing. The family has moved out of state again and I haven't seen her for a few years, but she always puts a special note in the family Christmas card. It's as if she is one of my own grandchildren.
