Up We Go Into The Wild Blue Yonder

OK - it's not exactly into the wild blue yonder, but it is into the air. For safety you are not allowed to fly a drone more than 400 feet above the ground. As a former airline captain I totally get it. But I'm now trying out drone photography, mostly for the art of it and to add to my landscape photography. While I was down in Richfield, Utah for the Intermountain Professional Photographer's Association retreat I went out with a friend to fly our drones. We found a nice location in the hills above town and sent them soaring above the landscape. To avoid collisions we took turns flying. Here is a collection of some of the images I created. For a beginner I'm pleased with the results. My next step will be to get my part 107 license. Having flown for a living I think it should be fairly easy to pass the test. Wish me luck! (BTW - the license is only required for commercial work so I'm not flying illegally at the moment.) Let me know what you think.
