This was a challenging Santa Experience session for us at Ted York Photography in Alpine, UT, but the results were well worth the effort. The children were wonderful, and the girls were delightful. The two twin boys, however, brought a bit more energy to the session, mostly because of their age. You could say they were like night and day. When one would look the right way, the other would look the opposite. It felt as though they were determined to stay out of sync. That is where our experience and persistence made all the difference. Working with two- and three-year-olds can be quite a challenge, and this was one of those sessions where we truly earned our keep. But the reward is always worth it when the session is complete and the finished portraits bring joy to the parents. Yes, photographing these children required extra effort, but the images turned out beautifully, and our challenge was soon forgotten.
