As the father of 5 boys and the grandfather of 11 more, I couldn’t help but smile while photographing this family during their Santa Experience. They settled so naturally into the wonder and magic of Santa, and they were wonderfully behaved and eager to interact with the man in red. In fact, they were one of four families whose grandparents booked sessions for each of their children’s families. It was the grandparents who chose this portrait as a Christmas gift, and I can only imagine the parents’ reaction when, for the first time, they saw their 24x36 inch canvas wall portrait, framed and ready to hang on the wall. If they were anything like me, they were thrilled beyond measure. I was, and they weren’t even mine!
