I love spending time with my grandchildren. But I'm not into the birthday parties, ballgames, etc. I like to take them with me exploring Utah. The farthest I've taken on is outside Kingman, Arizona via Henderson, Nevada to help with a photography shoot and spend time with grandpa. Last week I took three grandsons to Price, Utah to see the Prehistoric Museum. Afterwards, we headed out into the middle of nowhere to see the Cleveland Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry. They have a nice display along with the location where they actually dig for the Dinosaur bones. We viewed the displayed and then hiked around where I found a dinosaur to pose the boys around. But we were not done there. Getting back into the truck I drove the miles of well maintained dirt roads to the Buckhorn Draw where we found a dinosaur footprint and Fremont Indian petroglyphs and wall art. After reaching the San Rafael we turned around and found our way to a viewpoint looking out over the Little Grand Canyon that sits at the north end of the San Rafael Swell before heading back to civilization. I stopped in Price to feed the boys dinner, then chocolate malts at DQ before heading for home. It was a great day to explore Utah with some of my grand kids. Fun was had by all. Now it's time to plan the next trip.
